Zabaykalsky Krai Offers Funding for Animal Shelter Projects
Residents of Zabaykalsky Krai are invited to apply for funding to build, repair, or renovate shelters for stray animals. The State Veterinary Service has announced that applications will be accepted from October 2 to 11, 2025.
The regional budget will provide funds for these projects, with applications submitted through the 'Electronic Budget' system. Applicants must adhere to specific bookkeeping regulations and ensure individual microchipping of pets according to the program requirements. The service will start accepting applications in October 2025, marking a new phase in the region's efforts to manage stray animal populations.
The new rules for pet accounting and microchipping, announced earlier, will help streamline the process. Interested parties are encouraged to apply within the given timeframe to secure funding for their animal shelter news projects.
