Yakutia's Energy Crisis: Mounting Debts Threaten Stable Supply

Energy companies in Yakutia face mounting debts from housing and utilities organizations, with the MUP 'TES' in Aldan's debt surging to 26 million rubles since July. GUП JKH RS (Y) enterprise tops the list of defaulters, owing 272.9 million rubles for consumed electricity.

The situation is grim across the region. In the Neryungri district, LLC 'Energy Region Chulman' owes 17.4 million, LLC 'MPKK NR' owes 13.6 million, LLC 'STEP' owes 9.19 million, and LLC 'ITEK' owes 3.4 million rubles. Organizations in the housing and utilities sector collectively owe 743 million rubles, threatening the stable supply of energy.

Energy companies have warned of legal action if payment deadlines are violated and debts remain unaddressed. As of September's end, lawsuits totaling 351.2 million rubles are pending in courts. Yakutskenergosbyt maintains an anti-rating of defaulters on its website to pressure timely payments. MUP GO Zatai 'Zatai Thermal Network' also carries a significant debt of 20 million rubles.

Major industrial enterprises and some municipal utilities, aside from the prominent defaulters like GUP JKH RS and MUP 'TES', are also struggling to meet their energy debts. Energy companies urge all debtors to adhere to contract terms to maintain a reliable energy supply in Yakutia.
