Yakutia Technopark Recognized for Boosting Economy and Innovation
The Yakutia Technopark, a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in the republic, has been recognised for its achievements. Deputy Chairman Anatoly Semyonov praised the team, highlighting their contributions to the region's economy and society.
Established in 2012, the Yakutia Technopark has grown to become the core of the region's innovative ecosystem. It focuses on solving current tasks, with residents implementing solutions in various fields. The park's infrastructure includes the IT Park, biolaboratory, Regional Engineering Center, Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and UAV Laboratory.
Since its founding in 2015, the park has supported 485 entrepreneurs, creating around 4,000 new jobs. The total turnover of its residents is 17.7 billion rubles, with 2.1 billion rubles in investments attracted and 1.8 billion rubles in taxes paid. Notably, several companies under the park have started producing products for soldiers since the beginning of the SVO. The UAV Laboratory is creating the Polar Scientific and Production Center for testing new technologies, developing and producing unmanned aerial vehicles, and training personnel.
The Yakutia Technopark's success has been recognised nationally, with it being named one of the top three regional startup support practices in Russia. With continued support and innovation, the park is poised to drive further growth and development in Yakutia.
