With MegaFon, you're free to switch to your desired plan!
Megafon, a leading telecommunications provider, has made a significant move in the industry by launching a service that allows customers of any mobile operator to transfer their current tariff plan to a Megafon SIM card. This innovative offering, which is the first and completely unique in the telecom market, was introduced by Denis Dobrov, the commercial director of Megafon.
The service is designed to cater to customers who are unsatisfied with their current operator's connection quality but wish to keep their tariff conditions. To initiate the transfer process, customers need to visit the service page on Megafon's website and upload a screenshot of their current tariff. After verification, customers receive a promo code that can be entered online or shown to a store employee when activating the SIM card.
Existing Megafon customers can also use the service to add another SIM card. The transferred tariff includes eight free Megaservices of the customer's choice. Moreover, the service adds a number to Megafamily and provides a virtual assistant, Eva, to assist with the transition and ongoing usage.
The service can be initiated online through the Megafon mobile app or by visiting a Megafon store. It's worth noting that the service is free for both existing and new Megafon customers nationwide. According to Dmitry Rudskikh, Megafon's Commercial Director, this service will be particularly useful for customers unsatisfied with their current operator's connection quality but wanting to keep their tariff conditions.
Megafon plans to continue improving the terms of this service, ensuring it remains a competitive offering in the telecom market. This innovative service is set to revolutionise the way customers switch operators, offering a seamless and beneficial transition to Megafon.
