Vibrant Online Bidding Event Yields Strong Results: Over three-quarters of items sold for a total of 40.9 million euros, as reported by INDEP.

In a morning press conference, Monica Fernández Balboa, the general director of the Institute for Returning Stolen Goods to the People (INDEP), spoke alongside President Claudia Sheinbaum. Balboa announced a series of auctions, including hammer auctions, online auctions, and auctions of large properties by sealed bid.

The upcoming auctions will offer a diverse range of items, such as automobiles, armored trucks, land, houses, jewelry, wireless headphones, and financial assets. The total value of the auctioned goods is estimated to be around 40,900,000 pesos.

Interested bidders can find the auctioned items on INDEP's website, subastas.indep.gob.mx, where they can make offers directly. The website features articles for direct sale with no specific deadline, ranging from 1 peso to 5,000 pesos.

Balboa also mentioned that there will be auctions of various properties in different parts of the country, but the timeline for these auctions remains undisclosed.

Meanwhile, more than one million workers on platforms are now insured under the IMSS. Notably, the use of applications for a fee is no longer allowed for these insured workers.

Despite extensive searches, there is no specific information available about the progress or upcoming plans for online auctions of stolen goods by INDEP. The search results mainly contain general details about online auctions by unrelated entities.

As of now, the status and plans for INDEP's online auctions of stolen goods are not publicly reported or documented in the indexed sources. However, with the successful auction of a plot of land in Coahuila for 190,000 pesos and a 2016 Camaro car for 169,900 pesos, it's clear that the auctions have been generating significant interest.

Stay tuned for more updates on INDEP's auctions and their ongoing efforts to return stolen goods to the people of Mexico.

The upcoming auctions conducted by INDEP will include financial assets from various industries, contributing to the overall value of around 40,900,000 pesos. Interested bidders can find these financial assets, as well as other items, on INDEP's website for direct purchase, with auctions of stolen goods expected to generate significant interest.
