Valuable collection of classic vehicles available for purchase
In the heart of Worcestershire, a private collection of over 50 classic and retro cars, spanning several decades and a variety of makes, is set to hit the market. This extensive assembly, meticulously gathered and restored by a dedicated enthusiast over the last 30 years, features vehicles from renowned manufacturers such as Fords, Opels, and BMWs.
The collection, housed in bespoke temperature-controlled buildings on the West Coast of Ireland, boasts a diverse range of vehicles that have been lightly used and regularly exercised to ensure they remain in pristine, turn-key condition. Each car has undergone major services, with work schedules carried out in-house by an expert mechanic, to maintain their factory specifications.
Among the standout picks in this collection are a Ford Cortina Mk3 Olympic Edition, one of 500 cars produced to celebrate the Olympics, showing just 64,800 miles. Another unique find is a 1986 BMW E30 325i Hartge, ordered with numerous upgrades and resplendent in Malachite Green with a matching green interior, showing just 50,987 miles.
The BMW collection also includes a 2002 Tii with an original, restored fuel injection system. Other notable vehicles in the collection include a Manta B Silver II, considered super rare, and a pair of Manta B2 GTE Exclusives, with one showing just 14,278 miles and original wheels and tyres.
The collection is not limited to German and British cars, as it also features a 12,000-mile Mini City, a Mini Clubman, an Alfa Romeo Spider S2, a Honda S2000 GT with a hardtop, and various Rover and MGs. The collection includes several E30s, E28s, E46s, Z4 Coupes, Z4 Roadsters, and even an E21 3-Series BMW, all in manual transmission.
The collection also houses a now extremely rare E12 5-Series and an excellent Mercedes W123 230E, as well as an E36 316 Coupe with a low mileage of 31,000 and a 21,000-mile Toyota Celica 1.8 ST Coupe. Completing the collection is a superb two-door Mk1 Escort 1300E in Copper Brown, a Mk2 Cortina 1600E, a 32,000-mile Capri, a Fiesta Mk1 1.0 L in powder blue showing 35,000 miles, a Mk2 Escort RS2000 Custom, a pair of Fiesta XR2s, and a 50,000-mile Focus ST225 in standard spec.
The sale of this unique collection, starting August 2025, represents a rare opportunity to acquire well-maintained, factory-accurate classic cars from a passionate collector's 30 years of acquisition and restoration efforts. Some cars may even be auctioned at the NEC in November. With such a diverse and well-cared-for collection, it's a chance for car enthusiasts to add a piece of automotive history to their own garages.
