Uncertainty surrounds the ones responsible for this progression, with the city seemingly not in control.
The Millcroft Golf Course is set to undergo a significant transformation, as construction sites have been established near Millcroft Park Drive and Country Club Drive. The private development, led by Milcraft Golf Partner Inc., will see several changes over the next few years.
From September 15th, 2025, site preparation work is expected to commence, with excavation and hauling of material occurring between the parcels. This work is part of the broader development plan, which includes the installation of additional fencing to protect trees and the construction sites themselves.
Residents should expect some disruptions in the form of additional noise, dust, and mud in and around the construction area. To minimise inconvenience, non-essential entrances along Country Club Drive and Millcroft Park Drive will be closed, with fencing added at select entry points.
Millcroft Greens, the lead on this private development, will provide advance notice of future site activities, including timing and potential impacts. They will also share updates about the ongoing work, ensuring that residents are kept informed throughout the construction process.
It's worth noting that some other site preparation activities are planned for the near future, but they still require City permits. The City will continue to share updates when information is provided to them.
Installation of sediment control measures will take place during the construction, ensuring that the surrounding environment remains protected. Surplus topsoil will be stripped and removed from the construction sites, with fill material placed to prepare the lands for site servicing.
Once completed, the Millcroft Golf Course is expected to undergo a significant transformation, offering a revitalised and improved golfing experience for the community. For any questions or concerns regarding this work, residents are encouraged to contact Millcroft Greens directly.
