Tesla Expands Supercharger Network in Canada by Over 630 Stalls by 2025
Tesla is significantly expanding its Supercharger network in Canada. The move aims to reduce wait times and cater to increased demand, especially during holidays and cold weather. The expansion will see over 50 new sites and more than 630 charging stalls added across the country by 2025.
Quebec will be a major beneficiary, with over 80 new stalls at 11 locations. This includes cities like Quebec City, Montreal, and Sherbrooke. Newfoundland and Labrador will also see its first Supercharger, with 4 stalls in St. John's. Ontario is set to experience the largest increase, with over 190 stalls across 20 new locations, including high-capacity sites in Brampton and Mississauga. British Columbia will receive 17 new locations with over 150 stalls, including major sites in North Vancouver and Abbotsford. Alberta will see 56 new stalls across 6 new sites, connecting newly announced locations like Fort McMurray.
Tesla's expansion will significantly boost Canada's charging infrastructure, with more than 630 new stalls added by 2025. This will help accommodate increased demand and reduce wait times for Tesla owners across the country.
