Tech Stock Sell-Off: Analysts See 'Golden Buying Opportunity'
Tech stocks have faced a recent sell-off, with presidential candidate Trump's comments on Taiwan and China relations being blamed for the downturn. However, analyst Dan Ives of Wedbush Securities sees this as a 'golden buying opportunity' for investors in the stock market.
Ives believes the current market turmoil is a chance to snap up tech stocks at a discount. He still maintains a positive outlook on the sector, particularly on stocks like Nvidia. Despite most analysts being bearish and warning of further sell-offs, Ives is joined by other Wall Street analysts in his optimism. UBS and Citi, for instance, have maintained a 'Buy' rating and raised price targets for Nvidia, with UBS setting a target of 205 USD and Citi at 210 USD.
While the tech sector faces headwinds, analyst Dan Ives and other Wall Street firms see the current sell-off as an opportunity to buy tech stocks at discounted prices in the nasdaq today. They maintain a positive outlook on the sector's long-term prospects.
