Young comes aboard after a dozen years at Baker Botts, where he was a special counsel, dishing out sage advice on all manner of SALT issues. His expertise includes navigating the intricacies of income, franchise, gross receipts, sales, and use, unemployment, withholding, property, and excise taxes, to name a few. And if that wasn't impressive enough, Young has a knack for litigating complex property tax matters in over 130 Texas counties, taking it all the way to the Texas Supreme Court.

In his new role, Young will provide insights on the state and local tax implications of changes in business activities and corporate transactions, such as financings, sales, restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions. Talk about versatility!
