Riding high on the waves of innovation and development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Vande Bharat Express, connecting Pataliputra in Bihar to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh via Muzaffarpur and Bettiah, and the reaction among young passengers was sheer delight!
The sparkling new Vande Bharat Express marked a noteworthy technological advancement for the region, and for many students, it was their first experience with premium train travel. IANS caught up with some of these students to hear their feelings.
"Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine my first train journey would be on a train like this!" exclaimed one student. "I am truly grateful to Prime Minister Modi for this extraordinary experience. He's already done so much for our country, and now, he has gifted us this extraordinary journey."
Another student shared her thoughts, "This is my inaugural Vande Bharat ride, and I must say compared to traditional trains, it's nothing less than a dream! The cleanliness, modernity, and top-notch facilities are simply astounding."
A third student added, "This train feels phenomenal. The seats, the air conditioning, the overall ambiance... I'm incredibly proud that it began its journey here. Thank you, PM Modi!"
Still another student echoed, "I am absolutely loving this journey. Everything is so comfortable. The train is fully air-conditioned, equipped with automatic doors, and sensor systems. It feels like a flight on rails!"
A female passenger on board the Vande Bharat Express commented, "Throughout this journey, we've received timely updates on information. The train offers a range of modern amenities. The bathrooms are self-cleaning, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the seats are incredibly comfortable."
Dilip Kumar, Executive Director of Information and Publicity at the Railway Board, acknowledged the soaring popularity of the service, particularly among the youth.
"Vande Bharat is becoming increasingly popular, especially among the youngsters. Its speed, style, and service establish new benchmarks in the Indian Railways," he told IANS.
During his recent visit to Siwan, Prime Minister Modi reaffirmed the double-engine government's dedication to Bihar's comprehensive growth. He initiated and laid foundation stones for projects worth over ₹5,700 crores.
Among these projects was the new Vaishali-Deoria railway line project, valued at approximately ₹400 crores. He also launched a new train service on this route, strengthening the region's railway infrastructure.
