Storey Homes Acquires 15 Acres in Houghton Regis for 109 New Homes
Storey Homes has acquired 15 acres of land in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire, with plans to build 109 homes for sale, including 33 affordable ones. This is part of the company's 20-year growth strategy, as announced by Managing Director Katy Jordan.
The development, part of the Bidwell West consortium site, will feature a low density scheme with prominent gardens and green space. It will also include a community centre, a two-form entry primary school, and sports pitches. The homes for sale will be a combination of 2 storey 2, 3, 4, and 5-bedroom detached and semi-detached properties on generous plots, designed bespoke to the surroundings and the local community.
Storey Homes, which builds around 50 homes a year, has current projects in Birch Meadow, Hertfordshire, and De Montfort Place, Bedfordshire. The company aims to create quality houses for sale that maintain a supportive family-oriented culture. There is no available information on the past of Bidwell West before its transformation into residential housing by Storey Homes. To support its growth, the company has expanded its team and refurbished its offices.
Storey Homes' acquisition of land in Houghton Regis is a significant step in its planned growth strategy. The development promises to bring quality houses for sale, community facilities, and green spaces to the area, reflecting the company's commitment to creating supportive, family-oriented communities.
