Spring Capital appoints former Schroders governance chief as their new Chief Operating Officer
Spring Capital, a funds distribution partner to boutique asset managers, has announced the appointment of Anna O'Donoghue as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
With extensive experience in investment and governance, O'Donoghue's appointment comes at a time when Spring Capital's business is expanding and working with investment managers across different jurisdictions.
O'Donoghue's career began in 2002 as a fund selector at IMS. She later held similar positions at F&C and AXA Architas before joining Schroders in 2012. At Schroders, she became head of operations and governance in a certain year, and was later promoted to the role of global head of product development and governance. In 2021, she was appointed as the investment chief operating officer.
Justin Eede, director at Spring Capital, has expressed enthusiasm about O'Donoghue's appointment. "Anna's extensive experience in investment and governance will be invaluable as Spring Capital grows," he said.
O'Donoghue's role at Spring Capital will involve working closely with Malcolm and Justin, as well as the rest of the Spring Capital team. Her focus will be on ensuring exceptional service for investment manager partners and their clients, as well as managing the complexities of working with different service providers as Spring Capital grows.
Her appointment is seen as a significant advantage for Spring Capital as the business expands. O'Donoghue herself is excited to join Spring Capital as director and COO. "I am looking forward to working with the team at Spring Capital and contributing to the company's growth," she said.
O'Donoghue represented Schroders as the global head of product development and governance before joining Spring Capital Partners last week. Her appointment as the COO is expected to contribute significantly to Spring Capital's growth.
Spring Capital Partners is a funds distribution partner to boutique asset managers, providing them with access to a global network of institutional and wholesale investors. The company's mission is to help boutique asset managers grow and succeed in a competitive market. With the appointment of Anna O'Donoghue as COO, Spring Capital is well-positioned to continue its growth and success in the coming years.
