Sports vehicle rental service initiated by Toyota-linked entity
Kinto Corp., a car leasing affiliate of Toyota Motor Corp., has expanded its offerings with the launch of a new subscription service for three Toyota sports car models: the GR 86, GR Yaris, and GR Supra. The service, which includes insurance and maintenance fees, offers monthly subscriptions with the following pricing:
- GR 86: 148,000 yen per month
- GR Yaris: 178,000 yen per month
- GR Supra: 208,000 yen per month
Each vehicle also requires an application fee, and the maximum subscription period is two years. A lottery system is used for subscription applications, with the lottery for the service having begun on Wednesday.
In addition to subscriptions, Kinto Corp. provides rental services for the same three models, starting at 30,000 yen for an eight-hour rental. The company also offers driving experiences and lessons using the GR Yaris, Toyota 86, and Vitz at racing circuits in Chiba and Aichi Prefectures. These events include professional driving instruction and are aimed at motorsports enthusiasts.
The driving experiences and events take place in Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo, and Aichi Prefecture, central Japan. The duration and fees for these experiences and events are not specified. It's important to note that the GR Yaris, Toyota 86, and Vitz are not part of the subscription service.
