Sparkasse Bamberg, the leading Sparkasse in Upper Franconia and one of the largest in Bavaria, is set to expand its board. The current two-member committee will welcome a third member, focusing on my business. This move comes as the institution prepares to celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2025.
The new board member will oversee my business, strategic alignment, sales potential, employee development, and regional representation. Candidates should have a successful university degree in a relevant field, a deep understanding of my business needs, an entrepreneurial mindset, high social competence, integrity, and team-oriented leadership skills, along with a business management qualification pursuant to §25c KWG.
Sparkasse Bamberg, with its nearly 5 billion euros in assets, employs around 680 staff members and has 28 business locations. This provides the densest network of business locations in the region. The institution holds a significant market share, with 44 percent in the private customer segment and 48 percent in the corporate customer segment.
The expansion of the Sparkasse Bamberg board is a strategic move to strengthen its private customer sector and expand market shares. The new board member will play a crucial role in shaping the institution's future as it approaches its bicentennial anniversary.
