SEP Unveils New Leadership: Conroy, Davidson, Slater Step Up

Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) has unveiled a new leadership structure, with Angus Conroy and Keith Davidson appointed as Co-Managing Partners, succeeding Calum Paterson. Paterson moves to the role of chairman and senior partner, while Jennifer Slater takes on the position of Co-CEO, effective April 2023.

Fraser McLatchie joins SEP as Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Tim Ankers is promoted to Partner in the investment team. This transition is part of SEP's long-term succession plan, aiming to maintain its status as a preferred partner for ambitious technology companies across the UK and Europe.

Under Paterson's 23-year leadership, SEP raised seven funds, invested in over 160 businesses, and evolved from venture capital to growth investing in European software companies. Conroy and Davidson, who have been instrumental in shaping SEP's strategy, led investments in notable software companies such as AutoRek, FundApps, and Dotmatics.

With the new leadership team in place, SEP looks forward to continuing its successful track record of supporting and investing in innovative technology companies, building on the strong foundation laid by Calum Paterson.
