He attended the Victory Day parade on the 9th, and later, he met with key Russian officials, including State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Chairperson of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, and Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev. Putin and Trong held extensive talks in the Kremlin, which ran for about three and a half hours, resulting in more than 20 signed agreements.
Before his visit, Putin hinted at cooperative efforts with Vietnam, drawing inspiration from a Soviet tune.
