Rosenbauer's Chief Wolf is shifting to TGW, relocating his position.

Sebastian Wolf, the outgoing CEO of firefighting equipment manufacturer Rosenbauer, is set to join logistics systems builder TGW as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), according to a statement issued on Monday.

Wolf's departure from Rosenbauer was announced following a majority takeover at the beginning of March. Two of the Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich, Stefan Pierer, and Mark Mateschitz, an industrialist and Red Bull heir, were part of the group that took over Rosenbauer.

The 42-year-old Wolf, who is based in Leonding (district of Linz-Land), has been a key figure at Rosenbauer, leading the company's growth and innovation in firefighting vehicles. His move to TGW marks a significant shift in his career, as he will now be responsible for driving technology and innovation within the logistics systems industry.

Clemens Bauernfeind, who has been acting as the CFO of TGW since May 2024, will no longer be in the position from May 5. Wolf will join TGW on the same day and will succeed Bauernfeind in his role. TGW, based in Marchtrenk (district of Wels-Land), is a leading player in the logistics systems industry.

The supervisory board of TGW selected Wolf for the position in collaboration with TGW's management. Wolf's joining TGW is expected to bring a fresh perspective and a wealth of experience in leadership and innovation to the company.

Wolf will be leaving Rosenbauer on April 22. His departure from Rosenbauer and his move to TGW signify a new chapter in his career, as he takes on a significant leadership role related to advancing technological development in the logistics systems industry.
