New Appointment at Philip Morris International: Juliane Frinken Joins as Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs

Juliane Frinken has recently taken up a new position as the Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs at Philip Morris International, effective from August 1, 2025. In her new role, she will be part of the External Affairs team led by Torsten Albig and will report to Minke Wahl, Director of Strategy & Regulatory Affairs [1].

Prior to joining Philip Morris, Juliane Frinken spent time in the Government Affairs department at Siemens Healthineers. From 2024 to 2025, she held the position of Senior Director Government Affairs EMEA & Deputy Head Government Affairs Germany. Before this, she held various positions in the German Bundestag. Notably, she served as the head of the office and personal assistant to Member of Parliament Kristine Lütke from 2021 to 2024, and as a scientific assistant to Daniel Föst MdB from 2018 to 2021 [1].

Before her tenure at Siemens Healthineers, Juliane Frinken was also a part of the German Bundestag, where she held key roles. Her career in the Bundestag began in 2018, where she started as a scientific assistant to Daniel Föst MdB.
