Restaurateur Fined €9,000 for Illegally Employing Three Women Without Residence Permits
The Financial Control Schwarzarbeit (FKS) of the Main Customs Office Schweinfurt has concluded a major investigation. A restaurateur in the Aschaffenburg area was fined €9,000 for illegally employing three Georgian women without residence permits for over three years.
FKS, which handles cases ranging from preventive tasks to complex abuse of social benefits and illegal employment, conducted the investigation. The process can take several months to years, involving inspections of persons and business records, as well as investigations into criminal and administrative offenses related to black work and illegal employment.
The 32-year-old restaurateur employed the women using forged Slovak passports. Despite the search for specific information on the head or spokesperson of the press department of the Hauptzollamt Schweinfurt, no details were provided.
The Aschaffenburg Local Court convicted the restaurateur of aiding and abetting the illegal residence of the three individuals in three separate cases. The €9,000 fine serves as a reminder of the seriousness of such offenses and the importance of FKS's work in maintaining fairness and legality in the labor market.
