Renovation of pedestrian and cycling paths scheduled for Old Wipperfürther Straße on July 14

Starting July 14, a renovation project will transform the uphill pedestrian and cycle path on the southern side of Alte Wipperfürther Straße, between the traffic light junction at Paffrather Straße/Alte Wipperfürther Straße and house number 66.

**Project Details**

The renovation aims to modernize and improve the pedestrian and cycle path, enhancing the overall infrastructure of the area. The project is expected to take approximately three weeks, but the end date has not been specified yet.

**Traffic and Access**

During the construction period, a one-way traffic system will be in place, allowing traffic to flow only in the direction of Hebborn. A detour for traffic in the direction of Hand remains in place, and motorists and cyclists are advised to plan their routes in advance to avoid delays.

Access to properties on the southern side of the street will not be possible in the affected area from July 14. However, emergency vehicles and the fire service will be able to reach every house during the construction period, as previously stated.

The owners of properties are required to trim their shrubs and hedges before construction begins to ensure a smooth renovation process.

**Services and Amenities**

The waste management department has been informed in advance, and on waste collection days, the contracted construction company will ensure that the bins can be emptied. The renovation will not affect access to emergency services or waste management, as previously stated.

**Stay Informed**

To stay updated on the project's progress, keep an eye on local news or official announcements. Consider using alternative routes to minimize travel time during the construction period.

For more specific information or updates, it might be helpful to check with local authorities or transportation websites for the most current details.

This renovation project is part of ongoing efforts to improve the city's infrastructure and provide better facilities for its residents. The project is expected to conclude when the work is completed, at which point the pedestrian and cycle path will be restored to its full functionality.

The renovation project, aiming to modernize the infrastructure of the area, includes improvements not only for the pedestrian and cycle path but also potential advances in industries such as finance and transportation. During the construction period, motorists and cyclists might need to consider using alternative routes to avoid potential delays and ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
