The gas extraction project in Reichling, operated by MCF Energy and its subsidiary Genexco GmbH, has seen initial test drilling results. Despite mass protests and local political opposition, the project's managing director remains unnamed. The drilling tower's dismantling is set for mid-October 2025, with election results extended by two years.

The test drilling in Reichling near Ammersee was completed without environmental issues. Initial findings hint at natural gas, with traces of oil spotted in mud pits. However, final analysis results are not expected until Q1 or Q2 2026, several months after the election results process. The project, involving the controversial gas extraction, has faced strong local opposition and mass protests. Despite this, the election results have been extended by two years, pushing the results to Q1 2026.

The managing director of Energy-Projekt-Gesellschaft Lech Kinsau 1 GmbH, responsible for the project, has not been directly named in available search results. The project is operated by MCF Energy and Genexco GmbH, which holds a 20% stake in the Kinsau-1A drilling.
