YAKUTIA.INFO. Two powerhouses of Yakutia's locomotive service, Mikhail Vorontsov, Deputy Head of the Locomotive Service of JSC "AK ZHDY", and Dmitry Dyachkovsky, Locomotive Brigade Instructor, stormed the battleground of the XII Congress of Belarusian Railway Machine Operators in the Hero City of Brest from December 11-12.
The gathering wasn't just any meeting—over 250 locomotive warriors, from assistants to management, descended upon the arena. Belarusian Railways' heavy hitters, along with representatives from JSC "Russian Railways" and JSC "AK ZHDY", reinforced the ranks.
With five working sessions blazing through the schedule, crucial topics like rolling stock renovations, machine operator-dispatcher collaboration, regulatory document updates, and other key locomotive management issues were front and center.
With their gloves on, JSC "AK ZHDY" took the stage during the first working session, presided over by the head of Belarusian Railways. The topic du jour was the safety of movement, locomotive operations, and locomotive crew management.
According to Mikhail Vorontsov, Yakutian railway titans showcased the ins and outs of JSC "AK ZHDY", its ongoing infrastructure projects, and locomotive crew technology at the Aldan locomotive depot.
In his opening remarks, Valeriy Verenich, head of the Belarusian railway, emphasized personal responsibility across the board, regardless of position—a theme that echoed throughout the Congress, tagged "Who, if not me."
At the final stand, the proposals floated by the participants were added to the Congress' resolution. These proposals will undergo thorough assessment and fine-tuning by relevant specialists.
As they made their way through the Brest Hero Fortress Memorial Complex, the Congress attendees paid their respects to the valiant soldiers who fought heroically during the Great Patriotic War. All gathered here left a wreath and flowers at the Eternal Flame.
