In Vienenburg, there are connections to Bad Harzburg or Goslar. Passengers from Goslar or Bad Harzburg have seven or twelve minutes to change in Vienenburg. A direct regional train without stops to Braunschweig is waiting at Hildesheim for the return journey. The replacement bus departs from Braunschweig every hour at :45.
