Novocaine
Jack Quaid from The Boys takes on a superhero action comedy role in Novocaine. His character has an unusual ailment – he feels no pain – which he uses to rescue his beloved, who's been nabbed. Set to hit theaters on March 14, Novocaine also stars Amber Midthunder from Prey and Ray Nicholson from Smile 2. Directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olson, this captivating film is not to be missed!
Thunderbolts
Marvel fans got a full-on Thunderbolts trailer release for Super Bowl LIX. Marvel's rogue heroes, including Yelena Bolova (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian (David Harbour), The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Ghost (Hannah John Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) and John Walker (Wyatt Russell), take center stage.
The mix is complete when Julia Louis Dreyfuss's CIA Director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine enters the scene. Thunderbolts is slated for a May 2 release.
Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning
Tom Cruise brings out his iconic Ethan Hunt persona in the 30-second Super Bowl spot for Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning. Familiar faces such as Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Vanessa Kirby, along with various others, return to the MI franchise for this eighth installment.
Director Christopher McQuarrie's cast for the film also includes Nick Offerman, Hannah Waddingham, Katy O’Brian, Holt McCallany, Tramell Tillman, and Janet McTeer. Catch Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning in theaters on May 23.
Lilo & Stitch (Live-action)
The beloved Lilo & Stitch story is spun into a live-action adventure, featuring Hannah Waddingham, Zack Galifinianakis, and Tia Carrere. This modern-day take on the classic animated tale introduces Stitch causing havoc at Super Bowl LIX. Lilo & Stitch will also hit theaters on May 23.
How to Train Your Dragon (Live-action)
Much like Lilo & Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon shifts to live-action for a remake of the debut film in the series. Mason Thames plays Hiccup, who forges a bond with the injured dragon Toothless. Note that releasedates for this film, as well as those of F1, Jurassic World Rebirth, and Superman, were unavailable in the provided sources.
F1 (Live-action)
Brad Pitt appears in F1 as a retired Formula 1 driver who returns to coach a younger up-and-comer. Directed by Top Gun: Maverick helmer Joseph Kosinski, F1 also stars Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Javier Bardem. Set to hit theaters on June 25, this action-packed film promises an exhilarating experience.
M3GAN 2.0
The loathsome AI M3GAN resurfaces in M3GAN 2.0, as she's brought back to life by Gemma (Alison Williams). Amie Donald returns in her role as M3GAN while Jennifer Davis continues providing her sinister voice. M3GAN 2.0 will be terrorizing audiences on June 27.
Jurassic World Rebirth
Jurassic World Rebirth introduces a new cast to the franchise, including Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey. Director Gareth Edwards of Godzilla fame brings us another dose of dinosaur mayhem, with Jurassic World Rebirth set to open on July 2.
Smurfs
In the animated comedy Smurfs, Smurfette leads the Smurfs on a quest to rescue Papa Smurf, who's been seized. Also featuring the voices of Hannah Waddingham, Kurt Russell, Natasha Lyonne, Dan Levy, and others, the film is set for release on July 18.
Superman
James Gunn's Superman did not showcase its trailer during Super Bowl LIX, however, Gunn did share an adorable video of his dog Krypto during Puppy Bowl XXI on Animal Planet. Set for release on July 11, Superman features an ensemble cast, including Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, and others.
The Thunderbolts trailer during Super Bowl LIX featured Florence Pugh, David Harbour, and other Marvel actors, showcasing their rogue superhero characters.
