Pizza Alley Reopens After Year-Long Closure, Lawsuit Settled
Pizza Alley, a popular eatery in the West Highland area, has finally reopened its doors after a prolonged closure of over a year. The delay was due to extensive damage caused by unpermitted and subpar construction work by Domino's Pizza, leading to a lawsuit against Sunshine Construction and Remodeling by the restaurant's owner, Khagendra Gurung.
The reopening on September 15 was a welcome sight for regular customers who had been eagerly awaiting the return of their favorite pizza joint. However, the journey back to normality was not an easy one for Gurung, who had to navigate through a lengthy legal battle.
Gurung sued Sunshine Construction and Remodeling after discovering significant damage to the property, allegedly due to their unpermitted and shoddy work. The lawsuit, which sought to recover thousands of dollars in damages, highlighted the need for stricter regulations and oversight in the construction industry.
Pizza Alley's reopening marks a triumphant return for Gurung and his team, who have worked tirelessly to restore the restaurant to its former glory. Despite the setback, the community's support has been unwavering, and the future looks bright for this beloved local establishment.
