Stellantis Appoints Antonio Filosa as CEO and Board Member
Stellantis N.V., a global automaker with a unique portfolio of iconic and innovative brands, has announced the appointment of Antonio Filosa as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a member of the company's Board of Directors. This decision was made following an overwhelming approval by 99.2% of shareholders at Stellantis’s Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on July 18, 2025.
The appointment took place at the EGM, with the details of the resolution available on Stellantis' corporate website. Stellantis N.V. is listed on Euronext Milan and Euronext Paris under the symbols STLAM and STLAP respectively, and on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol STLA.
Filosa, who formally took over the CEO role on June 23, 2025, brings a wealth of experience to the position, having spent a significant part of his career within Stellantis and its predecessor Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. His roles have included plant manager in Brazil, head of purchasing for Latin America, head of Argentina operations, COO for Latin America, COO for South America, CEO of the Jeep brand, and COO for North and South America. He was also named chief quality officer in January 2025 prior to becoming CEO.
As CEO and a Board member, Filosa is now responsible for leading Stellantis into its next phase of growth, with an operational base in Auburn Hills, Michigan. He will focus on global operations and direct engagement with employees. His executive powers will allow him to steer the company's overall strategy and operations, working alongside Executive Chairman John Elkann, who remains in his position.
