Multiple city bus services to be discontinued.

In the capitular city of Minsk, modifications to public transportation are imminent. As announced by the press service of "Minsk Transport and Communications" enterprise, locals and tourists should anticipate the temporary inactivity of 13 bus routes and a single trolleybus route in the approximate near future.

From May 31, passengers commuting between Loshitsa-2 and Drazhnya bus stations will experience a brief disruption, as trolleybus route No. 15 will halt operations for the first time.

As of June 2, 13 buses will face temporary suspensions on weekdays, as detailed below:

  • The suspended routes, No. 15d (traversing Uruchye-2 and Fogle), No. 63d (Uruchye-2 to Fogle), No. 80d (Karbysheva to Velikiy Les), No. 83e (Malynovka-4 to TTC "Zhdanovichi"), and No. 111 (Minsk-South to Railway Station - Central Station), No. 126 (Odoevskogo to Masyukovschina), No. 128 (Kamennaya Gorka - 4 to "Kamennaya Gorka" Metro Station), No. 171s (Shabany to Sokol), No. 182s (Kamennaya Gorka - 5 to "Suharievo-5"), No. 186 (Mogilevskaya to Shishkina), No. 188s (Brilevichi - School No. 188), No. 192 (Pervomayskaya to Gymlazium No. 41), and No. 196s (Malynovka-4 to S. Kovalyovskoy) will all take a hiatus.

The enterprise clarified that the cessation of these transport routes is provisional, tied to the transition to the summer schedule. By the end of August - early September, these transport vehicles will return to the urban landscape of Minsk.

Minsktrans has also announced a change in its suburban routes from June 2 to August 29, 2025. This alteration stems from the regular summer decline in weekday passenger numbers. Although several routes will persist, others will be temporarily discontinued. Highlighted routes facing suspension encompass No. 318 (Minsk - Nelyidovich through Papernya), No. 474 (Minsk - Dacha Druzhba), and No. 498 (Minsk - Sokol through Obchak).

Moreover, between June 9 and August 29, 2025, the No416 route (Minsk - Solomorechye) will be temporarily put to rest. No buses will depart from the Karastoyanovo bus station at 13:55 or from the Solomorechye stop at 15:08 during this period.

Travelers planning to visit Minsk should consult the official city transportation website or reach out to local transportation services for up-to-date information on transportation alterations.

Passengers using routes No. 15, 15d, 63d, 80d, 83e, 111, 126, 128, 171s, 182s, 186, 188s, and 192 should know that these bus routes in Minsk will temporarily cease operations starting from June 2, shifting to the summer schedule. Finance within the industry sector of Minsk's public-transit transportation may experience fluctuations during this transition period.
