LBM Worms to Close L439 for Road Resurfacing in November
The Landesbetrieb Mobilität (LBM) Worms is set to commence road construction work on the L439 between Alsheim and Guntersblum in early November. The project, estimated to cost around 100,000 euros, will involve a full road closure for approximately a week, with the LBM Worms managing the project and announcing the exact start date soon.
The L439 will be closed in full by late November, with the road surface being replaced over a total length of around 1,100 meters to enhance traffic safety and quality. Due to technical reasons and work safety, a detour will be in place, routing traffic from the L439 / L438 roundabout north of Alsheim via the L438 to the B9 in Guntersblum and back. During the construction period, access to Hangen-Wahlheim will only be possible from Guntersblum.
The LBM Worms will inform the public about the exact start of construction in due course. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, with the road closure expected to last for about a week.
