Largest McLaren Collection Ever Put up for Auction

Mansour Ojjeh, a founding force behind McLaren Automotive and Formula 1, leaves behind a unique and highly significant collection of McLaren road cars. This extraordinary assembly, spanning 20 barely used vehicles, is considered the finest of its kind ever assembled.

The collection includes some of the last examples of each model line, all meticulously maintained in pristine, near-new condition, with minimal mileage on a few vehicles such as the McLaren F1 and P1 GTR.

### Key Highlights of the Collection

The McLaren F1, a 1990s performance icon and the pinnacle of the collection, is the centerpiece. Finished in a custom colour originally called Yquem, later renamed Mansour Orange exclusively for Ojjeh's cars, this particular F1 was also the last ever produced, with only 1,810 km on the clock.

Each car in the collection was selected or commissioned to be the final chassis number of its model, ensuring they carry the latest technical upgrades. The cars, except for a few used for track days, remain in factory-delivered, unused condition, maintained directly by McLaren under special instructions from Ojjeh himself.

The collection includes rare examples like the McLaren Elva, with badges replaced by Ojjeh’s personal emblem as a homage after his passing, symbolising his foundational role in McLaren. Other notable models include the MSO HS, described as a phenomenal supercar and a favourite in the collection aside from the F1.

### Auction Details and Estimated Value

The collection has been entrusted to Tom Hartley Jnr Ltd for sale, with the auction announced around late June 2025 and ongoing detailed showcases provided by Tom Hartley himself in early July 2025. The entire collection is expected to fetch approximately $70 million at auction due to its unique provenance, impeccable condition, and historical significance to McLaren both as a road car manufacturer and in motorsport.

### Summary

This collection is not only a tribute to Mansour Ojjeh's legacy but also a rare example of ultimate automotive perfection and passion. The cars represent a visionary gathering of the latest, most exclusive McLarens, emphasising innovation and exclusivity, making this auction one of the most important events in the automotive collector world.

The collection does not include any cars in the shade of Mansour Orange, which could not be ordered by anyone but Mansour Ojjeh. McLaren lost one of its most influential figures in Mansour Ojjeh in 2021. The Speedtail, 720S Le Mans Edition, and Elva are present in the collection but not in the shade of orange. Two cars in the collection, a Senna and a 675LT Spider, have more exposed carbon fiber than orange and feature pops of colour and papaya trim respectively.
