At the 2025 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a groundbreaking cooperation agreement was sealed between the Krasnodar region and UralSib Bank.

The ink-signing ceremony was graced by Igor Galasyuk, the First Vice-Governor, and Alexey Sazоnov, the Chairman of the Board of UralSib Bank.

Inking this cooperation agreement underscores our commitment to the region's flourishing fortunes. Executing this agreement's terms will turbocharge the Kuban economy's competitiveness and boost the quality of life for its denizens," said Igor Galasyuk.

This agreement is geared towards revolutionizing banking infrastructure and technologies in the Krasnodar region, escalating its economic potential, upgrading its image, making it more attractive for investors, and enhancing the quality of financial services for residents and businesses alike.

"The Krasnodar region is one of our strategic regions, where we anticipate robust growth in our cooperation with regional authorities and local businesses. Our business in the region is burgeoning across various sectors, and we're prepared to fuel this expansion, including by exploring opportunities in joint projects and programs", said Alexey Sazоnov, Chairman of the Board of UralSib Bank. Over 140,000 people are clients of UralSib's regional branch. The bank operates 21 offices, 192 ATMs, and payment terminals in the region. In the first quarter of 2025, the bank doled out 13.2 billion rubles in loans, marking a 22.6% increase compared to the same period in 2024. The bank also extended 2.8 billion rubles in loans to small and medium-sized businesses. UralSib is actively participating in events aimed at boosting financial literacy.

Cooperation agreements help banks collaborate with regional partners to execute tasks focused on social and economic development.

According to Yuga.ru's report, UralSib and T2 are gearing up to pool their expertise to combat fraud.
