Krasdale Foods Implements Leadership Changes
Krasdale Foods, a family-owned grocery distribution, merchandising, and marketing services company based in White Plains, NY, has announced several changes in its leadership team and new initiatives.
In a significant move, Howie Kent has been promoted to the role of Director of Business Insights and Retail Technology at Krasdale Foods. Kent, who previously played a pivotal role in developing the company's reporting and in-store execution tools, will now oversee business insights and retail technology functions.
Joining Kent in the sales and analytics arena is Joey Lebiak, who has taken up the position of a data analyst. Lebiak has transitioned from his previous role supporting Alpha 1 Marketing, an affiliate of Krasdale Foods.
Natalie Menns, who has spent nearly 20 years at Krasdale Foods, has been appointed as the Director of Customer Experience. Menns will oversee both customer service and inside sales at Krasdale Foods, having led major service model transformations during her tenure.
Carroll Arroyo is now the Sales Supervisor - Inside Sales at Krasdale Foods. Arroyo's more than 20-year tenure at Krasdale Foods includes cross-functional experience in customer service, field sales, and inside sales.
Meanwhile, Jose Torres has been promoted to Director of Sales at Krasdale Foods. Torres brings over 20 years of retail and sales leadership experience to his new role, including experience as a U.S. Navy veteran and former independent grocery store owner.
In other news, Krasdale Foods has embarked on a new rooftop solar project in the Bronx that generates 3.4M kWH of energy annually. This initiative is part of Krasdale's commitment to sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint.
The company's affiliate, Alpha 1 Marketing, has named Jenn Carson as the Director of Marketing.
Krasdale supports independent retailers operating under banners such as CTown, Bravo, Aim, Market Fresh, Shop Smart Food Markets, and Stop 1 Food Mart. The company's state-of-the-art distribution center is located in the Hunts Point neighborhood, in the New York City borough of Bronx, and it has a satellite office in Miami.
Krasdale and its affiliates serve more than 3,500 customers across eight states. The company's new Wilkes-Barre location of Bravo Supermarkets offers the area's largest selection of international foods.
Notably, the recent leadership changes at Krasdale Foods do not explicitly involve appointments or role expansions related to retail technology, customer experience, or business insights beyond July 2025. However, Howie Kent’s promotion involves sales analytics, which may overlap with business insights responsibilities.
Charles Krasne, who steered the company, passed away at the age of 94. His legacy continues to shape Krasdale Foods as it moves forward with its new leadership and initiatives.
In the context of Krasdale Foods' new leadership team and initiatives, Howie Kent has been promoted to the role of Director of Business Insights and Retail Technology, with a focus on overseeing business insights and retail technology functions, while also playing a significant role in sales analytics. Moreover, Natalie Menns has been appointed as the Director of Customer Experience, managing both customer service and inside sales at Krasdale Foods.
