Klingel's brand "Diemer" is getting a new proprietor

The luxury watch and jewelry brand "Diemer" is set to join the portfolio of the Goede Group from February 1, 2024, following a successful acquisition agreement. The "Diemer" brand, renowned for catering to the over-40 age group, has been part of the Klingel Group since 1969.

The Goede Group, founded by Dr. Michael Goede in 1978, is an internationally active corporate group that serves over 10 million customers worldwide. The company specialises in collectibles, health, services, and corporate participations, and employs over 550 people at its corporate locations in Europe and the USA.

Dr. Goede expressed his enthusiasm for the acquisition, stating his intentions to expand the business portfolio with the addition of the "Diemer" brand. He emphasised the brand's suitability for the demanding segment of the Goede Group's customer base.

Meanwhile, the Klingel Group, led by CEO Cord Henrik Schmidt, has been actively selling off assets, with the "Diemer" brand being one of them. The CEO, Marcus Katholing, expressed satisfaction with the successful conclusion of negotiations regarding the sale.

In preparation for the transition, January 31, 2024, marks the last order day for the Klingel Group's online shops. From February onwards, remaining inventory and assets of the Klingel Group will be sold.

The new owner of the "Diemer" brand, the Goede Group, based in Waldaschaff near Aschaffenburg, plans to continue offering excellent products and outstanding service with the acquisition. As the brand enters a new era, watch enthusiasts and jewelry connoisseurs can look forward to the continued quality and prestige associated with the "Diemer" name.
