New Joint Front Office Launched to Boost Foreign Investment in Kazakhstan

In a move to enhance the country's investment climate, Kazakhstan's Investment Committee and Kazakh Invest national company have launched a joint front office at the Astana International Financial Centre's (AIFC) Expat Centre. The center, which commenced operations on July 30, operates under a one-stop-shop model, tailored for the needs of foreign investors and specialists [1][2][3].

The joint front office, situated at the AIFC's Expat Centre, aims to centralize essential government services for international businesses within one location. Gabidulla Ospankulov, the chair of the Investment Committee, stated that this initiative would provide more convenient and efficient access to key services [4].

The services available at the office include visa support, guidance on investment contracts, assistance with long-term residence permits, including the "golden visa," and consultations on state incentives and regulatory procedures [5][6][7]. The services are offered in English to facilitate communication with foreign investors.

The center's purpose is to enhance state support for foreign investors and is part of broader efforts to streamline access to government services for foreign investors. The joint front office is expected to enhance the investor journey in Kazakhstan from initial entry to project execution [8][9].

The launch of the center was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, underscoring the government's commitment to a transparent and investor-friendly ecosystem. The center is tailored for the needs of foreign investors and specialists and is intended to reinforce Kazakhstan's long-term commitment to a transparent and investor-friendly ecosystem [10][11].

The joint front office at the AIFC's Expat Centre is part of the Astana International Financial Centre and is a collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Investment Committee and Kazakh Invest national company [12]. The center aims to streamline access to government services for foreign investors, making it easier for them to do business in Kazakhstan.
