With at least 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, and a strong background in financial management, the successful candidate will lead and manage a team of accountants, developing their skills and expertise. They will collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurately integrated across the organization, and implement and maintain financial systems, processes, and controls.

In addition to their technical skills, the candidate should have excellent leadership and communication skills, the ability to analyze financial data and prepare actionable recommendations, and proficiency in financial software and systems, particularly those used in banking.

Experience in managing teams, mentoring, and developing staff is crucial, as is the ability to align financial strategies with organizational goals and make informed financial decisions. Additional certifications like CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) can be advantageous, and familiarity with the banking sector and Sparkasse's specific financial context is beneficial.

Proficiency in German is essential, while fluency in English is advantageous for international communications or collaborations. The candidate should be proficient in handling MS-Office, especially Excel.
