In the heart of the Rhine region, a unique collaboration has taken shape within the historic halls, built in 1906 and adorned with pointed arches, glass roofs, and bathed in natural light. These halls, which have been a part of the community since 1994, have recently welcomed carnival enthusiasts and float builders, creating a vibrant and colourful atmosphere.

One of the most striking features of this celebration is the oldie train, reminiscent of the voluntary train attendants of Line D, sporting a conductor's cap. This vintage train, a proud symbol of the Rheinbahn, has formed a lively partnership with the float builders, showcasing the train's charters and winter services.

The oldie train has even been seen 'kissing' the Venus of a themed float, a spectacle created in the halls at Steinberg. This charming display of camaraderie reflects the deep friendship and trusting cooperation that has developed between the neighbours in the historic halls.

On one side of the track, detailed oldie vehicles with smiling faces can be found, greeting Rosenmontag floats and the landmarks of the city. This year, a modern train passed by to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Rheinbahn in the historic halls.

The historic halls have been transformed into a comic-style wonderland, with many colourful illustrations adorning the walls. Joyful people, revellers, and passengers are everywhere, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Tilly and his team have taken this opportunity to depict the cooperation between the historic halls, the Rheinbahn, and the "Line D" association, creating a truly memorable carnival experience. This collaboration is a testament to the spirit of community and heritage that thrives in the Rhine region, bringing together the past and present in a celebration of tradition and progress.

In the spirit of community and heritage, the vintage train partnered with the float builders, showcasing its charters and winter services in the finance sector. This collaboration, akin to the industry partnership between the historic halls and the "Line D" association, reflects the vibrant evolution of transportation in the Rhine region.

Tilly's illustrations, decorating the walls of the historic halls, symbolize the synergy between the halls, finance, and transportation, encapsulating the progress and tradition that define this unique celebration in the Rhine region.
