The BYD Yuan UP series has a new entry-level trim, the Pilot Edition, which was recently launched at a price point of 74,800 yuan (~$10,400). These trims are matched with 45.12 kWh Blade battery packs and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. Under fast charging, it takes 30 minutes to recharge these trims from 30% to 80%.
The 401 km trims also retain the same design and body dimensions, measuring 4310/1830/1675 mm (l/w/h) with a 2620 mm wheelbase. Two new exterior paints, beige and purple, are added for consumers to choose from, in addition to white, gray, and green, offering a total of five paints. On July 30, BYD launched another entry-level trim of the Yuan UP series, named Atto 2 in the overseas market. This model is priced similarly to the Pilot Edition and also does not come with the "God's Eye" system. The Atto 2 retains the same design and body dimensions as the Pilot Edition.
