Introducing the fresh Gensuite initiative: a tool aimed at evaluating and managing climate risks withinoperational and supply chain operations.

Benchmark Gensuite, a leading provider of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and sustainability management solutions, has launched a groundbreaking **Sustainability and Climate Risk Management Solution**. This new tool is designed to empower organisations in effectively measuring and managing climate risks across their operations and supply chains.

Key features of the solution include comprehensive climate risk measurement, integration with EHS and sustainability management, support for regulatory and voluntary disclosures, advanced analytics and dashboards, mobile accessibility, and being part of a unified ESG solution.

The solution's climate risk measurement capabilities enable organisations to track climate-related risks impacting both operational sites and suppliers, providing a more holistic understanding of their exposure. It builds on Benchmark Gensuite’s existing platform, offering seamless workflows and data sharing.

The new solution supports regulatory alignment with CSRD, TNFD, IFRS S2, CDP, and the EU Taxonomy, making it a valuable asset for organisations seeking to comply with the growing number of sustainability and climate-related regulations.

The launch of the new solution was in partnership with GIST Impact, a provider of data and analytics solutions. GIST Impact uses data-based intelligence with location-specific impact data covering more than 18,000 companies. The solution collects risk data across 18 climate risk layers and more than 3 million mapped assets.

The solution uses science-based datasets from GIST Impact to assess physical and transition risks. Data sources for the solution include NASA, NOAA, and WRI. It includes risk profiling accounting for site-specific sensitivities and vulnerabilities, and it uses scenario-based forward risk modelling using IPCC, IEA, and NGFS pathways.

Peter Walsh, Senior Director of Sustainability and ESG Digital Solutions at Benchmark Gensuite, stated that the solution combines science, technology, and business value. He explained that the solution is aimed at identifying, quantifying, and mitigating climate-related risks across global operations and supply chains.

The new solution is a software that enables organisations to move beyond compliance and into proactive climate risk management. It offers risk scoring and heatmapping to highlight risk-prone locations, scenario-based planning and mitigation design, integrated reporting and monitoring, and the ability to generate dashboards, reports, and disclosures aligned with various frameworks and standards.

This new solution reflects Benchmark Gensuite’s commitment to helping companies adapt to the evolving climate risk landscape by delivering a scalable, data-driven tool that aligns with best practices and regulatory demands in sustainability and climate risk management.
