The Get Lost Project Safari boasts a number of distinctive features. Rectangular LED headlights replace the original rounded units, and four yellow auxiliary lights are mounted up front. The vehicle's exterior is further enhanced with massive fender flares and all-terrain tires on white rally-inspired wheels. A mid-mounted roof scoop has been added, which is functional and splits into two ducts that flank the rear window.

The interior of the car is equally impressive. Bespoke seats trimmed in leather and tweed provide proper support and accommodate taller drivers. The rear deck houses a prominently displayed spare tire, integrated with a floating wing that resembles a World Rally Car (WRC) wing.

Under the hood, the exact powertrain of the vehicle is not disclosed, but it is said to deliver strong, reliable performance. The transformed Elise also benefits from a bespoke suspension system developed by Get Lost, designed to maintain the Elise's legendary feedback while allowing for off-pavement activities. The ride height of the Project Safari is 100mm over the standard Elise, making it ready for action.

The underbody has been reinforced and Cerakote-protected to withstand rocks and debris. Additional features such as a limited-slip differential and hydraulic handbrake promise controllable slides.

The production status for customer cars is scheduled to begin late in 2025.
