In a significant move, iHeartMedia has named Dan Lenz as the Market President for its Milwaukee operations, effective immediately. Lenz will oversee all aspects of the cluster’s operations, including sales, programming, and partnerships [1][2][3].

Lenz, who has been with iHeartMedia since 2017, was previously the Senior Vice President of Sales for the Milwaukee market. His work as a sales lead has been instrumental to the company’s success in the Milwaukee/Racine market, which is the 44th largest Nielsen market [1][2][3].

Nick Gnau, the iHeartMedia Division President, praised Lenz's contributions to the company's success in Milwaukee/Racine. Lenz will now report to Gnau in his new role [1][2][3].

As the Market President, Lenz will manage a broad portfolio of local and national brands such as news/talk 1130 WISN, classic hits 95.7 Big FM, country FM106.1, sports talk 97.3 The Game and FOX Sports 920, and hip hop/R&B V100.7 [1][2][3].

Lenz expressed enthusiasm about his new role, stating that he looks forward to continuing to deliver strong marketplace results, supporting the community, and leveraging both the talents of the sales team and programming professionals alongside iHeartMedia’s resources to benefit clients and partners in Milwaukee [1][3].

iHeartMedia owns and operates these stations in Milwaukee, along with the Green Bay Packer Radio Network [1][2][3]. The Milwaukee/Racine market is known for its vibrant radio scene, and iHeartMedia's cluster is a significant player in it.

Jeff Tyler, the area president for iHeartMedia’s Milwaukee and Madison markets, retired in June after a 47-year career in radio [4]. Lenz's appointment follows Tyler's retirement, marking a new chapter for iHeartMedia in Milwaukee.

In his new role as Market President, Dan Lenz will utilize his years of experience in sales and leadership to manage a diverse range of media brands, driving business success and strengthening partnerships within the finance sector. His appointment marks a significant transition for iHeartMedia in Milwaukee, following the retirement of Jeff Tyler, a long-time radio industry executive.
