Hürth Offers Free Temporary Parking for Residents as Construction Progresses

The city of Hürth is offering a temporary parking management solution for nearby residents, free of charge, starting mid-March. This alternative is located at the former district house site, accessible via Bonnstraße and Friedrich-Ebert-Straße. The initiative comes as parking spaces are being lost earlier than planned due to rapid construction progress in the Lebensader Lux urban development project on Luxembourg Street in Hermülheim.

The Lebensader Lux project in Hermülheim is moving swiftly, with construction work progressing rapidly. Unfortunately, this has led to a loss of parking spaces earlier than initially anticipated. To accommodate residents, the city has stepped in to provide a temporary parking management area at the former district house site. This area is available free of charge, although users are reminded that they park at their own risk.

The temporary parking management area can be accessed via two main routes: Bonnstraße and Friedrich-Ebert-Straße. The city has not specified the exact date when the alternative parking will become operational, only noting that it will be available from the 12th calendar week of the year.

The city of Hürth is addressing the parking management issue caused by the Lebensader Lux project's swift progress.
