Global Expo on Transportation Innovations slated for February 4-9, 2027 in Bharat
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo (BMGE), an industry-led initiative coordinated by the Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPCI) and other organisations such as SIAM, ACMA, ATMA, NASSCOM, and CII, is set to return for its third edition in 2027. After the successful 2025 edition that attracted more than 9.8 lakh visitors and over 1,500 exhibitors, the 2027 event promises to be even more significant and far-reaching.
The upcoming edition of the BMGE will expand its scope by introducing two new segments: Multimodal Mobility and Logistics, and Tractors and Agricultural Mobility Solutions. The Multimodal Mobility and Logistics section will encompass various modes of transportation, including rail, road, air, water, urban and rural mobility. This dedicated section aims to provide a comprehensive platform for showcasing the latest advancements in logistics and mobility solutions across diverse sectors.
Simultaneously, a showcase focused on tractors and agricultural mobility solutions will highlight innovations and technologies in the agricultural sector, broadening the expo's relevance to rural and agricultural mobility. These additions are expected to enhance the expo's appeal by attracting a broader range of stakeholders, including those from the agricultural and logistics sectors, alongside the automotive industry.
The transition to cleaner energy is a growing trend in the automotive landscape, and the 2027 edition of the BMGE will reflect this shift. The expo will likely feature Electric Vehicles as a response to the government's and automobile manufacturers' focus on cleaner energy. In addition, the showcase may emphasise the role of cleaner mobility technologies in urban and rural mobility solutions.
Moreover, the 2027 edition may showcase new electric motorcycle models as part of the Upcoming Bikes in India, and new electric vehicle models as part of the Upcoming Cars in India. This focus on cleaner technologies aligns with the efforts of the government and automobile manufacturers to transition towards cleaner energy.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2027 will take place between February 4-9 in the National Capital Region of Delhi, across three different venues - Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi, and India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. With its expanded scope and focus on cleaner mobility, the 2027 edition is poised to reinforce the event's position as a premier platform for mobility and automotive innovations.
- The multimodal mobility and logistics segment at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2027, encompassing various transport modes, may attract stakeholders from the finance sector, especially those interested in investing in innovative logistics solutions.
- Beyond the automotive industry, the 2027 BMGE is anticipated to feature sports-related mobility solutions, reflecting the growing trend of electric vehicles in sporting events and the increasing focus on sustainable practices within the sports domain.
