TOMSK, APR 29 - RIA Tomsk. The jury for the "Rodnye Goroda" contest by Gazprom Neft has selected 12 of the most effective social projects from Tomsk Region and Tarskoye Raion, Omsk Region – all of them will receive grants. In Pakernoye village, they plan to stage a play adaptation of "The Bremen Town Musicians," while in Tomsk, they will build a honey-producing flowerbed in a public space. This info comes from Gazprom Neft's press service.
The press service reminded that Gazprom Neft has held an annual grant contest within their social investment program "Rodnye Goroda" since 2015. The company supports the best social projects focused on infrastructure and cultural development in Tomsk Region and Tarskoye Raion, among others. Over ten years, there have been more than 160 projects completed on these territories.
"Gazpromneft-Vostok" has awarded the winners of the grant contest... Local residents and non-profit organizations initiate transformations in sports, the environment, education, culture, urban development, and more. This year, there were over 80 applications, with the expert jury selecting 12 most interesting and effective projects, as mentioned in the announcement.
The significance of these initiatives lies in the active participation of citizens. This allows diverse social groups to be considered, increasing project effectiveness.
"Our ten-year history shows that this contest is a real tool that helps cultivate the intellectual, sports, and cultural potential of territories where our employees work. Children's developmental playgrounds are created, holiday clubs are formed, charities open," quotes Ivan Razdobudko, the General Director of Gazpromneft-Vostok.
In cities and villages,
"Preserving local identity, promoting folk crafts, and launching new sports teams – these projects are not only unique, but also unite people of various ages: from teenagers to seniors. Their primary goal is to make the lives of the Pakernoye villagers better, safer, and more comfortable. That's exactly why these initiatives receive such a positive response from the residents," says Elena Ryazanova, the head of Pakernoye Raion.
In the regional center of Pakernoye, Tomsk Region, an interactive play based on the fairy tale "The Bremen Town Musicians" will be staged. Its distinguishing feature is interactive audience participation.
"In Tomsk, a university student proposed the 'Living, Bee!' project – the creation of a flowerbed for pollination-friendly plants in a public city spot. This eco-friendly initiative will serve as an excellent example of preserving the habitat of beneficial insects," reports Gazprom Neft's press service.
