Rnews: Ganga Expressway Delays persist amidst GRAP 4 Restrictions
Saddle up, riding buddies! The Ganga Expressway, a massive 594 kilometer-long roadway linking Meerut to Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, is still stuck in the muck, refusing to gallop due to bloomin' GRAP 4 restrictions in the Delhi-NCR regions like Meerut, Hapur, and Bulandshahr. Can you fuckin' believe it?
Initially, this bad boy was slated to be done by December 18, 2024, but here we are, stuck in 2025 and no bloody expressway in sight! Now, they're aiming for a completion sometime Between March and April 2025. Just great!
The expressway is practically built for the most part, with 92% of the geographical work and 98% of structural work wrapped up already. Despite this, only 71% of the bloody thing has been constructed, making it a no-show for the upcoming Maha Kumbh.
