This investment round also saw participation from Cathay AfricInvest Innovation, FMO, Platform Investment Partners, and Jacob Stoner, a licensed commercial drone operator in Canada and a highly respected figure within the drone community.
Founded in 2014, Aerobotics has made significant strides in the precision agriculture market, particularly within the high-value tree crop sector. The company specializes in advanced drone and AI-driven solutions for monitoring and managing tree crops like orchards, improving yield and crop health through data analytics and early detection of issues.
Aerobotics' AI platform uses drones and satellite imagery for fruit and tree health monitoring across 18 countries. To date, over 81 million trees and over 1 million citrus fruits have been analyzed by Aerobotics. This technology enables farmers to receive precise, data-driven insights on crop health, yield forecasts, and disease detection, helping them to optimize their crops and increase productivity.
