Freiburg Hauptbahnhof's Parking Garage Reopens After Major Renovation
The renovation of Freiburg Hauptbahnhof's parking garage has been completed after a year and a half. The project cost 9.5 million euros, staying within the planned budget.
The garage, which houses 241 parking spaces, will reopen on October 1, 2023. The renovation included a comprehensive overhaul of the structural substance and safety technology. Notably, the first 20 minutes of parking remain free for users.
Among the new features, a license plate recognition system has been installed for convenient online payment. Additionally, six charging points for electric vehicles have been added to cater to the growing demand for eco-friendly transportation.
The completed renovation brings improved safety and convenience to users of Freiburg Hauptbahnhof's parking garage. The garage will be fully operational again from October 1, offering 241 parking spots and modern facilities.
