New Police Officers Join the Bundespolizeidirektion Stuttgart
On September 3, 2025, 41 new police officers officially embarked on their careers with the Bundespolizeidirektion Stuttgart. The officers, consisting of 33 police masters and 8 police commissioners, took an oath at the Federal Police Directorate Stuttgart.
The new recruits are now deployed at various locations, including the Bundespolizeiinspektionen at Stuttgart Airport, Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Offenburg, Weil am Rhein, Konstanz, and the Mobile Kontroll- und Überwachungseinheit.
Mr. Carsten Laube, the President of the Federal Police Directorate Stuttgart, welcomed the new officers. In his speech, he emphasised the importance of working together as a team to meet the challenges and achieve the greatest possible operational success.
The Federal Police Directorate Stuttgart is responsible for the Federal Police in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The Federal Police are primarily responsible for maintaining law and order in Germany, particularly at airports and other transportation hubs.
The officers completed their training at the training centers in Oerlenbach, Bamberg, Lübeck, or the Federal Police Academy. After their training, they were conscientiously expected to fulfill their duties as part of their oath to uphold the Basic Law and all laws in force in the Federal Republic of Germany.
