Zach Randolph's Modern Mansion in Encino Sells for $7.4 Million

NBA legend Zach Randolph has sold his 8,500-square-foot mansion in the Amestoy Estates community of Encino for $7.4 million after 11 months on the market. The property, known for its luxurious amenities and prime location, was marketed as "the pinnacle of luxury living."

The modern home, featuring six bedrooms and ten bathrooms, boasts a fortified concrete exterior designed to resist wildfires, floor-to-ceiling windows, wide-plank floors, and a chef’s kitchen equipped with stone countertops and high-end appliances. Other amenities include a sauna, gym, home theater, full bar, library, panic room with a vault door, several balconies, a landscaped yard with a resort-style pool, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and a full-size basketball court.

The selling agency was Distinct Concierge, a firm specializing in sports and entertainment real estate. Rod Watson, Laura Watson, and Renecia Watson of Distinct Concierge handled the sale. The unnamed buyer, reportedly an executive from an energy company relocating to the area from Houston, was said to be "desperate" for a full-size basketball court.

Randolph, 44, purchased the home in 2019 for just under $5.2 million. The asking price was gradually decreased to $7.4 million before the sale was finalized. The sale set a price-per-square-foot mark in Encino's Amestoy Estates at approximately $864.70.

Throughout his 17-season NBA career, Randolph played for the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, and Memphis Grizzlies, where his No. 50 jersey was the first to be retired. He averaged 16.6 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 31 minutes per contest, and shot 47.1% from the field and 76.4% from the foul line.
