Ogilvy Appoints Ann Garreaud as New Global Chief Financial Officer

Ann Garreaud, a renowned financial and strategic leader, has been appointed as the new Global Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ogilvy, effective from July 2025. Garreaud will be based in New York and will oversee all financial and commercial operations across Ogilvy's global network.

In her previous role as Executive Vice President of Global Client Finance & Business Solutions at Publicis Groupe, Garreaud led financial and commercial operations for the company's global client practice. She played a significant role in transforming the business model and driving multi-capability growth for major clients.

At Ogilvy, Garreaud will be a member of WPP's finance leadership team, reinforcing Ogilvy's commitment to strengthening its commercial strategy and enhancing global client partnerships. She will be responsible for ensuring Ogilvy continues delivering exceptional value and innovative solutions for clients worldwide.

Garreaud's appointment is expected to bring a strategic and innovative approach to Ogilvy’s commercial strategy. This move is seen as a strategic step by Ogilvy, aiming to leverage Garreaud’s expertise in financial leadership and transformative business strategies to support sustained growth and adapt to the evolving agency landscape.

The new structure for Grey at Ogilvy does not constitute a merger. Grey's reporting structure was moved to Ogilvy by WPP in May. As part of her role at Ogilvy, Garreaud will also have responsibility for creative agency Grey.

Garreaud's educational background includes a BA from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. Prior to joining Ogilvy, she was at Publicis Groupe, where she served in various global CFO roles within Publicis Health and Publicis Worldwide and served as U.S. CFO for joint ventures between Y&R and Dentsu.
