Expanded documentation requirements by regulatory bodies now include various documents that verify the presence of electrical installations within domestic properties. These documents are essential for establishing the tariff category used to calculate electricity billing, based on consumption ranges. Homeowners who have yet to submit such documentation to the District Energy Company (DÉK) are urged to electronically mail one of the following documents to the provided email address...

Expanded Documentation for Electrical Installations in Home Drive Tariff Calculations

Regulatory bodies have provided additional clarifications, extending the list of acceptable documents to confirm the presence of electrical installations in residential properties. These documents are crucial for electricity bill calculations, as they take into account consumption ranges.

Residents who have not previously submitted such documents to the District Electricity Company (DEK) are now instructed to send any of the following via email, online reception, or in-person at a client office:

  1. A residential property technical passport, annotated with notes about the installation of electric stoves and/or electric heating systems, duly certified by authorized organizations.
  2. A specialized organization's (BTI, cadastre engineers) inspection report, verifying the installation of a fixed electric stove and/or electric heating system in a residential building.
  3. A document from a network organization, confirming the connection of a residential building to electrical networks, detailing the presence of an electric stove or electric heating system with a designated load.
  4. A court decision, legally binding, regarding the preservation of a residential property in its altered state (such alterations involving the installation of electric stoves or electric heating equipment).
  5. A certificate from a local government authority (territorial administration), verifying the presence of a fixed electric stove and/or electric heating system.
  6. Technical accounting documents for a residential building, insofar as they contain information about the installation of electric stoves and/or electric heating systems.
  7. Project documentation, if it provides information about the installation of electric stoves and/or electric heating systems, or their absence.
  8. A technical passport for an electric heating system.
  9. Other consumer-available documents, containing information about the installation of electric stoves and/or electric heating systems (including acts performed by contractors for the installation of electric heating equipment).

In cases where documents only pertain to points 6-9, energy providers will conduct a joint on-site inspection with a corresponding act.

It should be noted that, depending on local regulations and the DEK's policies, the specific requirements for submitting these documents may vary. Therefore, it's recommended to consult local authorities for the most accurate and current information.

When submitting these documents to the DEK, generally follow these steps:

  1. Gather necessary documents, including the technical passport, installation certificates, wiring diagrams, inspection reports, and invoices.
  2. Contact the DEK to ascertain their specific requirements and submission process.
  3. Submit your documents according to the DEK's instructions, ensuring their completeness and accuracy to minimize delays.
  4. DEK will review and verify the documents. Upon approval, your electrical installations will be acknowledged for electricity bill calculations.
  5. Check the status of your submission with DEK to ensure timely processing, if necessary.

Electrical Installation Certificates, wiring diagrams, electrical panel inspection reports, and installation invoices are among the common documents widely accepted for verifying electrical installations.

Finance plays a significant role in industry as the submission of essential documents to the District Electricity Company (DEK) may impact the accuracy of energy consumption calculations and subsequently, electricity bills. In the context of energy, understanding the industry standards for electrical installations, such as the presence of electric stoves and heating systems, is crucial for finance and regulatory compliance.
